On July 18, in order to further deepen the company's fire safety management, continue to improve the professional skills, practical capabilities and comprehensive qualities of volunteer firefighters, consolidate the foundation of corporate fire safety, and ensure the implementation of the goal of "saving early and eliminating small ones", Tekmax Vehicle Industry Company successfully held the third firefighting skills competition of volunteer firefighters. Volunteer firefighters from various local departments of the company gathered on the field to start a competition of speed, skill and wisdom.

Promote training through competition and sharpen troops in actual combat

On the basis of continuing the fine tradition of "promoting learning through competition and promoting practice through competition" in previous competitions, this competition has been optimized and upgraded, paying more attention to the comprehensive ability assessment that combines theory with practical operation and pays equal attention to speed and precision. The competition content mainly includes:

01 Theoretical assessment

To test the team members' mastery of basic fire protection knowledge, 10 questions cover key safety points, accounting for 30% of the total score, laying a solid theoretical foundation for actual combat.

02 Physical fitness return run

The team members are required to complete three return runs within a distance of 10 meters. Each time they return, they must bend down and touch the line, effectively simulating agility and endurance in fire emergency response. The shorter the time, the better the result.

03 60-meter single-person portable fire extinguisher for fire extinguishing

Team members need to wear equipment according to regulations (zipper to chest, fasten chin strap, wear gloves), quickly grab a fire extinguisher and sprint to the point of fire, extinguish the fire with precise spray and then rush to the finish line. Standard operation and fire extinguishing accuracy (must spray into oil barrels) directly affect the score, and violations will result in extra time.

04 Two-person simulated fire hose target practice

Test teamwork and operational proficiency. After one person is dressed, he quickly connects the fire hydrant and water hose, connects the gun head and runs to the target point; the other person is responsible for turning on the water source. The gun holder needs to aim accurately at the target until the target countdown stops. Tacit cooperation and operational fluency are the keys to victory.

Compete on the field, strive for the first place

The atmosphere at the competition was tense and lively, and the participating team members were full of energy and high morale. In the theoretical examination room, they responded calmly; on the physical fitness return track, they walked as fast as flying; on the fire extinguishing track, their movements were standardized, precise and effective; in the fire hose target shooting session, they cooperated tacitly and performed in one go. Every competition is a strict test of the results of daily training, and every operation demonstrates the excellent professional skills and courageous spirit of the volunteer firefighters.

After nearly two hours of fierce competition and comprehensive scoring, the winner of this competition was finally determined:

Lay a solid foundation and safeguard development

This firefighting skills competition is not only a comprehensive review of the quality of the volunteer firefighting team, but also an important starting point to promote the company's fire safety management to become normalized, standardized and practical. Through the multi-dimensional competition of "theory + physical fitness + skills", the team members' theoretical level, reaction speed, operational standardization and team collaboration ability were effectively improved, and the team's comprehensive actual combat and emergency response effectiveness were comprehensively strengthened.

Tekmax Company will continue to deepen fire safety management, conduct training and drills on a regular basis, ensure that "everyone is safe and everyone knows how to respond to emergencies", and jointly build a "firewall" for safe production to protect the company's long-term development!
