Taimao Company Firefighting Skills Competition

In order to deepen fire safety management, effectively improve the professional skills and fire-fighting and rescue capabilities of volunteer firefighters, consolidate the foundation of fire prevention and control, and ensure that "rescue the early and eliminate the small". Tekmax Vehicle Industry Company recently held the second "Firefighting Skills Competition" competition in 2024. 17 volunteer firefighters from various local departments of the company competed fiercely around 3 competition projects.

Careful preparation and fierce competition

The competition is closely focused on actual firefighting, with three events including 60-meter single-person portable fire extinguishers, two-person simulated fire hose shooting, and physical push-ups. On the field, volunteer firefighters from various local departments were enthusiastic and racing against time. The comparison of speed, ability and patience fully demonstrated the good spirit and excellent professional level of the company's volunteer firefighters.

NO.01 "Fire extinguishing with 60-meter single-person portable fire extinguisher"

Competition rules: Team members need to quickly put on their equipment, move quickly to the fire extinguisher 10 meters away, then sprint to the fire point 50 meters away with the fire extinguisher, turn on the fire extinguisher to spray the fire, and then quickly rush to the finish line. 

NO.02 "Two-person simulated fire hose shooting" 

Competition rules: Both parties cooperate to complete the task. One of them is responsible for obtaining the water hose and connecting it to the fire hydrant, then connecting the water nozzle head and quickly moving it to the target location 20 meters away, while the other person turns on the water source. The person holding the water nozzle head needs to accurately aim at the target and spray until the target falls.

NO.03 "Physical push-ups"

Competition rules: Complete thirty standard push-ups within the time limit of one minute. If you can achieve this goal, you will get full points; if you cannot complete it, you will need to add five seconds for each push-up missing.

Honorary Awards

After nearly two hours of fierce competition, Tu Yuansen from Production Department 1 won the first place in this competition, Li Wei from Production Department 3 followed closely, ranking second, and Xu Long from Human Resources-Safety won the third place. Yang Jing, senior manager of human resources, presented the awards to the three winners.

Promote learning through competition and build a solid foundation for safety

Through this firefighting skills competition, the firefighting skills of volunteer firefighters from all departments of Tekmax Company were comprehensively reviewed, and the practical ability and comprehensive combat effectiveness of the company's firefighting team were improved. At the same time, it also promoted the normalization of the company's fire safety management and daily training, and became proficient in basic knowledge of firefighting skills and the operation and use of firefighting equipment, laying a solid foundation for safety assurance for the company's high-quality development.
